Information on SARS

Welcome to the SARS information page, the information listed is the most up-to-date information available to the South Eastern Health Board.

A national helpline has been set up by the Department of Health & Children (DoHC) - Freephone 1800 45 45 00. In support of the DoHC’s freephone number the South Eastern Health Board has set up it’s own helpline for any enquiries members of the public may have on the virus. The helpline is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you ring outside these hours, an answering service is available, you can leave a message and your call will be returned. The telephone number is: 1800 200 871.

Daily updates are placed on the World Health Organisation webiste and the Department of Health website, there are links to both sites below.
