The Irish Medical Organisation has notified the South Eastern Health Board that it is suspending its industrial action from the hospital with effect from 4.00 pm Friday 9^th August until Tuesday 13^th August at 9.00 am.

All outpatient and surgery scheduled for Monday 12^th August 2002 at Waterford Regional Hospital will now take place.

The Board wishes to apologise to patients for the late notice in relation to Monday’s appointments and expresses its disappointment of the ongoing disruption to patient services with the planned reinstatement of the industrial action on Tuesday.
