SEHB Invites Submission on Health Promotion Strategy

The South Eastern Health Board is inviting submissions from the public in its formation of an action plan in response to the National Health Promotion Strategy.

The National Health Promotion Strategy 2000-2005 outlined in broad terms the future direction of health promotion in Ireland.

The South Eastern Health Board is currently in the process of putting together an action plan and is looking for the views and opinions of the public. The Board is anxious to establish what the public considers to be the priorities arising from this strategy in relation to work and everyday life and also what needs to be put in place in order to address these priorities.

A summary of the Strategy and guidelines for submission are available from the Health Promotion Department, South Eastern Health Board, Dean Street, Kilkenny. Tel. 056-61400.

The closing date for receipt of submissions is Friday, 22nd February 2002
