Chris Fitzgerald, Principal Officer, Department of Health and Children accompanied by Mairéad Gleeson Project Manager, Cardiovascular Disease Strategy, South Eastern Health Board, visited Wexford General Hospital.

A brief tour of the hospital followed where they firstly visited Cardiac Diagnostics, Cardiac Rehab, Coronary Care Unit and Medical Ward which concluded in the Boardroom. Chris Fitzgerald commented that he was extremely enthused by the progress made against agreed initiatives at Wexford General Hospital.
